Julia and Anna are an ambitious, driven jobsharing partnership who started out on their jobsharing journey 7 years ago.  After progressing as a partnership in a large German corporate, they now freelance together supporting jobsharers throughout their end to end journey.  Having active experience of jobsharing, whilst also being change and transformation experts by profession they are well placed to coach and support jobshare partnerships.

Episode 26: Lessons from a serial jobsharer - with Jo Nicol & Kate Roberts - Head of Finance at Leeds University Business School

In this week's episode we talk to Jo Nicol - finance leader and serial jobsharer. Jo is in the somewhat unique position of having shared with 4 different jobshare partners over a period of almost 15 years. Having worked full time, part-time and as a jobshare, Jo talks about the impact of jobsharing on her life and how jobsharing enabled her to fulfil her work and home ambitions. She also talks about the transitions between jobshare partners, recruiting for jobshare partners and how to build relationships before, during and after a jobshare. 

 

We're also joined by her current jobshare partner Kate Roberts, who shares her experience of joining Jo, having never jobshared before, and how that impacted her integration into the role and supercharged her induction!

Hannah Essex and Claire Walker are Co - CEOs of Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre. Theirs is a longstanding partnership having come together initially at Teach First before progressing to being Co-Executive Directors at the British Chambers of Commerce before moving to their current role.

Episode 22: Jobsharing to thrive in high pressured, intensive roles with Suzy McCormick and Kulsoom Ali - UK Health Security Agency

Kulsoom Ali and Suzy McCormick jobshare the role of Head of Talent and Inclusion in the UK Health Security Agency.   Their partnership came together in one of the most intensive periods of recent history - the start of the Covid pandemic, as they were asked to work on the NHS Test and Trace programme.

Their story shows the true benefit of jobsharing in senior, demanding, pressurised roles where you are facing unprecedented decision making and the need for really high levels of resilience.
